REEFWALKER NEWS LETTER ~ FEBRUARY/APRIL 2010
Apologies for a delayed fishing report!
As we have been extremely busy and being at the age were the grey matter is letting me down from time to time this newsletter will be more photos then content.
It has been an interesting 3 months, with mostly great fishing days but some absolute shockers! Is it the Leeuwin current,is it the moon,is it the weather.....?
Who knows, but on one of "those" days I would offer a lot of money for a bit of fish psychology!
Back to the "awesome" days:
Quite a few Dhu Fish, Mulloway and Pink Snapper being caught and as you can see some of them were monsters. The one that Bruce is holding was a female over 1 metre.
Daniel was the real hero though...he actually caught his!
Poor Adrian who deserves to be holding this 87cm Pinky cause when he tried to pull his catch into the boat he dropped it. He sure spat the dummy!!!!
Many of our young crew did really well and as usual its the smallest guy that catches the biggest fish. Here are some beauties!

The ladies haven't done too bad either with some 5 star varieties.
Plenty of Sharks, they moved in for a while and every spot we went too they were about. Here's Rob putting a small Blacktip and young Tiger shark to sleep by
turning it upside down, this is the best way to remove the hook before returning it to the ocean.
A large Black tip was caught on a redhead lure, it took about 40 minutes to get it to the boat, while the lucky chap was reeling it in we all had coffee...,breakfast,...nap,...

Now about our Chinese Take Away crew! They were a keen team and even the girls were competitive! Many, many pictures were taken...thank God for digital camera.
We had a great day out and they were stoked with their catch...a real Mulloway fest and few crays to top it up!

We have been catching a few Spotted Mackerel but the long awaited Spanish Mackerel has not showed up yet in numbers.
This one here is a lucky catch!
And now the Ugly and the Beautiful.
Lionfish, something that looks a bit like a Pink Snapper, a Seaturtle and a Pinky in need of some dental work.

As grand finale a beautifull sunrise cruising out West.
