REEFWALKER NEWS LETTER ~ JUNE 2010

Hereby introducing our new charter vessel, Ilse G, a 50ft luxury vessel now the fastest and best equipped fishing charter boat in Kalbarri.
Cruising at 18 knots the vessel stands high out of the water and rides like a dream. It takes up to 29 passengers and is ideal for corporate and private functions as well as our daily fishing trips and eco-tours.

We drove the Ilse G up from Hillary's mid-june, a 17 hour trip to her new home port.Under way we saw many Humpback whales making their way up North and the dolphins welcomed us coming into the Kalbarri rivermouth. We were truly blessed!

June and July fishing has been quite good: Coral trout, big pink snapper, Red Emperor, big Mulloway and a lot of Dhu Fish in our secret spot

The whales are back and we have had some amazing encounters leaving everybody in awe!

The sunset cruises on our new boat have been a succes and seem to end up in sunset parties!

The July holidays kept both vessels busy till the storm came trough which gave us a few days of deserved rest.

We had one rescue mission in the rivermouth when the swell was 8 foot +, so hereby a piece of advice:If you decide to take your own boat out please check with the VMR the conditions and try to get some local advice.
