REEFWALKER NEWS LETTER ~ DECEMBER 2010/JANUARY 2011
December holiday season started with a fizzer as for the first week the rivermouth was closed due to the Murchison river flood.
The river was flowing that hard it was too dangerous for any boat to go out.
Our river and a large part of the ocean along the coast North looked like mud for weeks. Not good for business!!!
But we shouldn't complain as it is nothing compared to what people in Carnaveron and Queensland went through and our thoughts are
with them.

We caught heaps of crayfish, our record was 69 size out of 4 pots.
We can only keep 12 but what a buzz to see so many come up

On our 3in1 ECO TOUR we were delighted to welcome a new baby in our local dolphin group,he's looking tiny compared to the others
and his nose has not well formed yet!
Our resident seal decided to stop his fish chasing activities to come and have a look who's on the boat.
Lots of dolphin pods around and the occasional whale.

Fishing has been great...on one of "those" days we hit a snapper spot and IT JUST WENT OFF!!!!Very exciting for all aboard!!!
One of our guest caught a MASSIVE Coral Trout which she proudly holds up!! Definitely a record catch!
Been catching good sized Pink Snapper,Dhufish and Bluebone
